To determine the most overrated cities, they reviewed data from popular review sites for the 85 most-visited cities worldwide. The study evaluated the ratio of five- and four- star ratings to three-stars and below, as well as how often phrases like “very disappointing” were used. Reviews for the top 20 most popular attractions in each city were also weighted as part of the rankings.<\/p>\n\n\n
